Delete your Malaab account

You can delete your Malaab account and its data at any time, in the app or by email.

In the app

1. Open Malaab and go to Settings.
2. Under Privacy, tap Delete my data.
3. Confirm with Delete.

Your account is deleted at once, and the app signs you out.

Without the app

Write to jesusos.dev@gmail.com from the email you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll delete the account within 30 days and reply when it's done.

What is deleted

• Your account and your email address
• Your sessions, on every device
• Your questions, their answers, and your ratings and notes
• Your daily question counts, and what each question was about

What is kept

• Your email and network address from sign-in requests, for up to 30 days after each request, to stop abuse.
• Backups of the database, for up to 14 days.
• Daily counts of what people ask about, which don't link to you.
• Copies of questions kept to check Ask's answers, which don't link to you.
• A record of changes Malaab made to your account, such as your daily question limit, if there were any.
• Anonymous usage analytics, which were never linked to your account. You can turn them off in Settings, under Privacy.
